Several facilities in Ontario have been using the Nintendo Wii in their activity programs. When the console is purchased, it comes with a disc that contains several games including tennis, boxing, and BOWLING. Yes, bowling is the biggie for senior’s activity. Everyone knows how to do it and I understand that the residents line up outside the TV room for their turn. Having purchased a Wii myself a few months ago, I understand the popularity. I got my Wii at Best Buy through their online store http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/dept.asp?logon=&langid=EN&catid=24333 however the Wii can be found in several other places including EB Games, Future Shop and the odd Shopper’s Drug Mart. I understand that somewhere, a game developer or two might be working on developing Wii games specifically for seniors. Fingers crossed!
