According to a report in CBC news today, yoga practioners, and particularly those who have practiced for a long time, may suffer hip injuries. Riki Richter, a yoga teacher for 14 years, says, “women complain of hip pain after yoga classes, often those who are “hypermobile” with ligaments that are much looser than average. Its not necessarily newcomers to yoga she sees injured, but sometimes yoga teachers.”
